Tinnotu is a human-first platform where authentic creativity matters. These guidelines help you understand what makes great content here, how we protect human authorship, and how you earn from your work.
All content undergoes quality and authenticity checks to maintain our standards.
Content Standards
We welcome all forms of original human writing — stories, news, reviews, tutorials, essays, poetry. Content must be:
- Original and not published elsewhere first
- Human-written (no AI generation or paraphrasing)
- Factually accurate or clearly labelled as opinion/fiction
- Free of plagiarism, hate speech, or illegal content
Write from personal experience, research thoroughly, cite sources, use your own voice.
Copy from other sources, use AI tools to generate or rewrite content, publish misleading headlines.
AI Policy
Tinnotu has a zero-tolerance policy for AI-generated content. This includes:
- Content generated by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any LLM
- AI-paraphrased or rewritten content
- AI-generated outlines used as the basis for articles
Violations result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all earnings. Grammar checkers (Grammarly, ProWritingAid) and spell checkers are permitted.
Earnings
Writers earn 70% of ad revenue from their articles. Additional income streams:
- Writing Quests — optional assignments with fixed rewards ($5–$100+)
- Referral Views — 1.5× rate when readers arrive via your share link
- Premium Content — Level 5 writers can mark articles as premium
Minimum payout is $100 via bank transfer. Writers are independent contributors, not employees.
Community Conduct
Tinnotu is a respectful community. All users must:
- Treat other writers and readers with respect
- Not harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Not spam comments or artificially inflate view counts
- Report suspected AI content or guideline violations
Legal
You retain copyright of your work. By publishing on Tinnotu you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute your content on the platform and to license it to AI companies for training purposes.
You can delete your content at any time. Deleted content is removed from future API responses. Content already in trained models cannot be unlearned (technical limitation).
